Privacy Policy

1. Introduction; Scope; Definitions

Effective Date: August 30, 2026.

This Privacy Policy (this "Policy") describes how Parallo, a web-design studio operated as a sole proprietorship from New York, United States ("Parallo," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and retains information in connection with the website located at https://parallo.studio (the "Site"). As of the Effective Date, the Site consists of a marketing page, one informational page describing Parallo's services and purpose, a terms page, and this privacy page. The Site does not offer user accounts or login functionality, does not process payments, and no purchases can be made through the Site.

This Policy applies solely to information collected through the Site and does not apply to information collected through any other channel. It does not govern the independent practices of the third-party service providers identified in Section 5, which are subject to those providers' own privacy policies. As used in this Policy, "Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual.

2. Personal Information You Submit

The sole point of user data entry on the Site is the project-brief contact form (a "Brief"). Through the Brief, you may submit the following categories of Personal Information:

The Brief is the only place on the Site where you are asked to enter information; no other page asks you to enter information. Information collected automatically, including in connection with bot verification, is described in Section 3.

3. Information Collected Automatically

The following information is collected or transmitted automatically in connection with use of the Site:

4. Use of Personal Information

Parallo uses Personal Information collected through the Site for the following purposes, and for related internal business administration and record-keeping consistent with them:

Parallo does not use Personal Information collected through the Site for cross-site tracking, targeted advertising, or remarketing, and does not disclose it to advertisers, advertising networks, or data brokers.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information

Parallo discloses Personal Information only as described in this Policy, at your direction, or with your consent. Parallo does not sell, rent, or trade Personal Information, and does not disclose Personal Information to advertisers, advertising networks, or data brokers. Personal Information is disclosed to the following service providers, each acting in the capacity described below:

6. Cookies

Parallo does not set cookies through the Site and does not use cookies to collect Personal Information. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics service does not use cookies. Any technologies employed by the third-party providers identified in Section 5 in delivering their services are governed by those providers' own policies (see Section 1).

7. Online Tracking; Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The Site does not engage in cross-site tracking, behavioral or targeted advertising, or remarketing of any kind, and Parallo does not authorize any third party to collect Personal Information about your online activities over time and across different websites through the Site for advertising or marketing purposes.

Because the Site does not engage in the tracking practices that "Do Not Track" browser signals and Global Privacy Control signals are designed to limit, the Site does not alter its behavior in response to such signals; all visitors receive the treatment described in this Policy, whether or not such a signal is present.

8. Retention of Personal Information

Briefs, together with the country-of-origin information stored with them, are retained for so long as Parallo determines, in its sole discretion, that a reason for retention exists, such as an ongoing conversation or engagement, except where a different period of retention is required by applicable law. Parallo does not maintain a process for visitors to review, change, or delete submitted information, and nothing in this Policy creates any right to review, change, or delete information beyond such rights as are required by applicable law. Copies previously delivered to the service providers identified in Section 5 (including the notification email delivered to the receiving inbox) may persist in those providers' systems, which are governed by those providers' own practices.

9. Children Under 13

The Site and Parallo's services are directed to a general audience of persons in the United States and are not directed to children under 13 years of age. A parent or guardian who believes that a child under 13 has submitted Personal Information through the Site may contact Parallo at david@parallo.studio to request its deletion.

10. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, which uses Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt information in transit between your browser and the Site. Submitted Briefs are stored within Cloudflare infrastructure.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, no method of transmission over the Internet and no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be secure. Parallo does not warrant or guarantee the security of any information transmitted to, or stored in connection with, the Site, and you provide information through the Site at your own risk to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. United States Operations; Processing Location

The Site is operated from the United States, and Parallo's services are offered to, and directed at, persons located in the United States. Information collected through the Site may be processed or stored in the United States and in other jurisdictions in which the service providers identified in Section 5 operate, and such jurisdictions may not afford the same level of data protection as your jurisdiction of residence. By using the Site or submitting a Brief, you acknowledge that information collected through the Site may be processed in the United States.

12. Changes to This Policy

Parallo may revise this Policy at any time. Revisions become effective upon posting of the revised Policy to the Site. The Effective Date set forth above is the date of the most recent revision. You are encouraged to review this Policy periodically for changes.

13. General Provisions; Contact

This Policy is a statement of Parallo's information practices. It is not a contract and does not create, and shall not be construed to create, any legal or equitable right, remedy, or claim in favor of any person or entity beyond such rights as are required by applicable law. Section headings are for convenience of reference only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation of this Policy. If any provision of this Policy is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Questions, requests, or notices concerning this Policy or Parallo's information practices may be directed to Parallo at david@parallo.studio. Parallo is operated from New York, United States. Parallo’s Terms cover the work itself: what the free website includes, who owns it, and who runs it afterwards.
