Mission statement
Because of AI, anyone can put a website online in an afternoon now, but almost all of them look the same. Same gradient, same three layouts. Nothing on them tells you who the organization is or what they actually do. On the other hand, well made websites by professional design studios often cost thousands of dollars.
That's why we exist. We build free websites for clubs, teams and community organizations that can't afford one, built to showcase what you do.
If the website could belong to anybody, it isn't representing anybody. The work you do isn't generic and your site shouldn't be either.
The front page is the standard every job is held to. Same build, same care.
Who it’s for
School clubs. Academic and robotics teams. Youth sports leagues. Nonprofits. Community groups. Anyone doing something for other people who would go without a website rather than pay for one.
Not sure whether that’s you? Ask. Projects are taken on case by case, and asking costs nothing.

Questions
- Is it really free?
- Yes. No fee at any time and nothing to sign up for. You own the site, its domain and its hosting when it’s done, and the free hosting tier costs nothing.
- What’s the catch?
- There isn’t one. Parallo is a volunteer project run by one person, so projects are taken on case by case, and your text and photos have to arrive by an agreed date or the project closes. That’s the whole deal.
- Do we qualify?
- If you’re a school club, an academic or robotics team, a youth league, a nonprofit or a community group that would otherwise go without a website, probably. Businesses, personal portfolios and startups don’t. When in doubt, send a brief.
- What do we need to send?
- Your name spelled the way it should appear, a logo, a few sentences about what you do, photos you have the right to use, and the date you need it live.
- How long does it take?
- A few weeks once your material is in. You get three rounds of changes, then it’s live.
- Can we update it ourselves afterwards?
- Yes. Anything that changes week to week, like scores, dates or a roster, can read from a spreadsheet you edit. Nothing needs code.
- Who builds it?
- David, a high school senior in New York, the same person who built this site.
